Welcome to RSPB Reading Local Group

Tuesday 14 December at 8:00 p.m.

Member's Evening

A chance for members to show what they've been up to during the lockdowns.

PLEASE NOTE: We will be meeting at Pangbourne Village Hall at 8.00 p.m.  Hall regulations restrict us to 50 attendees with good ventilation (some doors & windows will be open). Face masks must be worn at all times, hand sanitizers must be used, and we have to respect social distancing.

Tuesday 25th January at 8.00pm.

The talk will be given by John Medlock and is entitled “Borneo – the Land below the Wind”.

The lecture covers the flora, fauna, and birds found in both the Malaysian and Indonesian sections and highlights the threats to the wildlife particularly from the growth of palm oil plantations.

Please email info@reading-rspb.org atleast 24hours before the meeting to receive the Zoom link.

Sunday 19 December

Car trip to Wraysbury

Look for wintering ducks and geese, goldeneye should be present and if lucky we might find a smew.

Sadly due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic we are currently unable to run any fundraising activities.  Hopefully as restrictions lift, more events will be added soon.
